Professional Make-up Courses

The Allure Professional Makeup Course has been designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed as professional makeup artists. Students are trained in corrective and basic makeup techniques through to specialist areas such as film, television, theatre, photographic, runway/catwalk, special effects, period makeup, body painting etc. During the course we help you to put together a professional portfolio of your work and show you how to prepare for a career as a working freelance makeup artist.
The course runs for 12 weeks on Mondays 9am to 4pm and Wednesday evenings 6pm to 9.30pm. Students are required to do various hours and projects outside of these hours which will vary from week to week. The studio is open 6 days a week and students are always welcome to come in and do any extra practice they want. There is always at least one of the Allure makeup team on hand to help and guide students along the way.

Allure is an incredibly busy and highly sort after company. We guarantee students work experience in certain areas and encourage them to take full advantage this by coming along with us out in the field and even assisting once students have developed a certain level of skills.
